Wisconsin’s Tax Treatment of Business

The Milwaukee Business Journal reports that a recent study ranks Wisconsin 42d among the 50 states in its tax treatment of businesses. Consider, too, the ever-increasing burden of fees imposed for “services” that used to be financed by taxes. It would be interesting to see a study of the combined impact of taxes and fees on business.
